The Mom Life: Rest {Day Twelve}

There truly is no rest for the weary momma with little ones. I have to catch it here and there.

In those moments where both kids magically nap I try to catch a few winks on the couch.

Sleeping in means something else suffers. I’ve already mentioned how I’m not a morning person. Getting up before the kids is pretty much critical to my day. Those few moments sans children are magical.

A few days ago, I even enjoyed an entire cup of coffee before the first ‘momma’ from Charlee and ‘wake me up’ from Dom were uttered. Whether I blog or do my devotions this time of early morning silence is so good for me. Though it cost me sleep it is rest for my soul.

This post is part of a 31 day movement. You can learn more about it here but the gist of it is that I take 5 minutes to write on a one word prompt that is provided following a theme that I have chosen. My theme is The Mom Life. So every post will center around my life and experiences as a mom and what comes to mind when I think about the prompt given. Hope you enjoy following my writing journey as much as I will love crafting the words.
