If it’s a boy, we will play with Lego blocks and pretend to be superheroes
If it’s a girl, we will play dress up and twirl. A Lot.
If it’s a boy, we will make mud pies and carry frogs in our pockets.
If it’s a girl we will make brownies.
If it’s a boy, potty training will be very interesting.
If it’s a girl, well puberty…
If it’s a boy, he will learn what it means to be a true gentleman and how to treat all ladies with respect
If it’s a girl, she will learn what it means to be a lady and what being treated with respect looks like
If it’s a girl, our toenails will always display the latest color of polish
If it’s a boy, our faces will be accentuated by various shades of dirt
If it’s a girl, she will have her daddy’s eye’s and her momma’s passion for life
If it’s a boy, he will have a heart like his father and a laugh like his mom
And when our little family member arrives, this little one will have love reserved alone for him OR her and we will wonder why we ever thought it might be the other.
